Hello everyone! Today I’ll be reviewing the newly repackaged Etude House Sweet Cherry Tints! I’ll be reviewing the entire collection which comes in 5 shades.
The Etude House Sweet Cherry Tint is a lip tint that claims to provide “moist, shiny, plump looking lips“. True it it’s claims, when freshly applied, the tint gives my lips a shiny looking appearance, making them look fuller. It applied smoothly and was comfortable to wear. However as the day went on, I noticed my lips felt slightly dryer and I had to apply a lip balm over top. This could be because my lips are naturally dry.
Do take note that the tints can only be twisted up and they cannot be twisted down. So, please twist up carefully as you use it each time!
PK001 and PK002 are perfect for every day use. PK002 however was the sheerest among all the shades and the swatch above was swatched 3 times to achieve the opaqueness. All the swatches were swatched thrice but as you can tell, PK002 is rather sheer. The red (RD301) and fuchsia (PP501) are the most pigmented and my favourite shades in the collection. One swipe of these gives an opaque coverage and I think that’s the primary reason why both shades lasted longer on my lips compared to the other colours. 🙂 The sheerer colours lasted about 3 hours before fading and the red and fuchsia lasted 5-6 hours even with eating and drinking!
The tints also contain a strong sweet fragrance which I can’t put my finger too. If you are sensitive to fragrances, I would recommend smelling these in person before buying. I definitely recommend checking these Sweet Cherry tints out as they are affordable and very long-lasting. Most lipsticks/tints I have tried don’t last as long as these!
