Wow, can you believe we are half way into November already? This year is flying by! Today I’ll be featuring my lovely friend Jane who tried the Etude House Precious Mineral MOIST Any Cushion (launched 1st October 2015 in Singapore) and she will be sharing her thoughts on it! 😀
The Etude House Precious Mineral MOIST Any Cushion is a multitasking cushion pact providing an all-day flawless, luminous complexion with rich moisturizing properties. It claims to be moisturizing, whitening, anti-wrinkle, UV protecting (SPF 50+ / PA+++), tone correcting and gives a glossy effect. It is different from the Precious Mineral Any Cushion as this cushion contains baobab water instead of purified water and 4 times more hyaluronic acid. Jane will be putting it to the test to see how well this cushion works in Singapore’s humid weather!
It is currently available in 3 shades:
Jane uses the shade W24. Now, on to Jane’s review!
I love how the MOIST any cushion comes in a beautiful pearlescent compact, perfect for on-the-go application of make up. Sometimes when we are in a hurry to do our makeup, we might accidentally spill some foundation on our outfit. But with this cushion, we don’t have to worry about any accidental spillage! The cushion is also easy to apply as it does not require any other make up tools or skills but just purely using the puff to lightly pat on your face. It’s a good product for beginners who are just starting to use makeup as it’s much easier to use compared to the traditional BB cream where you have to spread it out at the back of your hand before applying to your face. 🙂 The product gives light-medium coverage, making it suitable for every day use.
I noticed that the cushion immediately reduces dullness and discoloration, completely brightening up my skin. It delivers a luminous smooth finish whilst being matte enough to skip powder. Although, initially, the cushion seemed a little too light, as the day wore on, it oxidised and matched my skintone perfectly. 🙂
However, the main issue I had with the cushion would be that it doesn’t last very long in our hot and humid climate. In addition, Singapore’s weather makes it rather sticky if worn outdoors. However, it was never touted to be a sweat resistant or long wear product. Another downside would be that the cream transfers slightly when I blot off my sweat with a tissue paper. This cushion would probably last longer in drier climates, like Korea.
Overall I highly recommend this cushion to ladies looking a cushion that gives a dewy natural look! Two aspects that I love the most would be the natural looking coverage it gives and the dewy finish. It is hardly detectable on my skin which makes it perfect for the “no makeup makeup look”. Because we all want to look like we woke up like this.
Till next time! 🙂
