A few weeks ago, I received a press drop from the lovely folks over at LAPCOS. Despite being 22 years old, I’m still a kid at heart and anything Disney makes my heart skip a beat! 😉 Today I’m excited to share with you the LAPCOS limited edition Disney collection!
I received the shades BE01 Swansdown Beige ($19.90 SGD) and RE02 Luxor Red ($19.90 SGD) out of the 5 shades available.
I love how these crayons are twist up, making it very easy and convenient to use. Both shades are pigmented, with BE01 Swansdown Beige being slightly less pigmented. The formula is creamy and moisturizing, I’m pleased that it wears comfortably on the lips without a lip balm. However the creaminess is a problem for me as I’m prone to lipstick bleeding into lines around the mouth. That is not an attractive look. I make sure to blot and use a lip pencil with the darker shade.
BE01 Swansdown Beige is a warm-toned peachy pink. This will look fabulous on fair to medium skintones. 🙂 It’s a little sheer, and my natural lip colour shows through. If anyone remembers the Betty Bright lipstick from MAC’s Archie’s Girl collection released a few years back, this colour is an exact dupe for it! 😀
RE02 Luxor Red is a beautiful blue-toned raspberry red with a luminous sheen. It had rich colour payoff that glided on easily without tugging, leaving a smooth, even color coverage. I dare say it’s comparable to my BITE Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencils in terms of opaqueness and creaminess. I absolutely love and recommend this colour!
Next up, we have the Lily and Mickey hand cream ($12.90 SGD), which contains Madonna Lily extract and 20% Shea Butter. It has a nice floral scent but it’s nothing too overpowering. The non-greasy yet creamy texture makes my hands feel so soft and smooth without being too slippery. 😀
The photo doesn’t capture it but my hands feel so silky after slathering on this cream. Thumbs up!
The LAPCOS X Disney collection is now available in Singapore at SASA, BHG stores and www.thecosmebox.com.
