I hauled from Colourpop several weeks back when they had free international shipping. You guys, I’m seriously obsessing over the brand right now. For the price, the products are really good! I love my highend makeup but every once in a while I like to switch up and use drugstore/more affordable makeup.
Colourpop eyeshadow in Paradox ($5 USD): Five bucks for this eyeshadow?! Say whattttt. GIVE IT TO ME. Ok, after converting back to Singapore dollars it’s more than $5 but nevertheless, still pretty cheap. It’s described as a warm satin burgundy red on the website. The colour payoff was excellent, and it lasts for hours! Colourpop suggests for maximum coverage, use the fingertip to tap shadow on the eyelid. š It applied without too much patchiness onto bare skin. It wasn’t the easiest to blend, given the intensity of the colour. But with the help of a MAC 217 brush, I was able to blend till my eye makeup was on point.
Colourpop blush in Prenup ($8 USD): No haul of mine would be complete without a blush. After looking at countless swatches online, I decide Prenup was most suitable for my fair skin! It’s described as a mid-tone pale pink. This is my first time trying their blushes so I was really excited. I found the blush a little difficult to blend, coming all patchy at times. I had to use a dense brush with it, if not it won’t even show up on my face.
According to the website, fingertip application will provide the highest amount of coverage, and for a sheer look, use a flat synthetic cheek/foundation brush or a duo fiber brush. Looks like I’ll have to give this a try with a flat synthetic/duo fiber brush to see it makes application easier.
Colourpop eyeshadow in Glow ($5 USD): Glow is a matte creamy vanilla that instantly became one of my favourite eyeshadows! It had good color payoff with a soft, smooth consistency. There are some eyeshadows that are basic but necessary? This is one of them. It’s nothing fancy but it’s a staple. I find myself reaching to use it as a base for other eyeshadows.
I didn’t haul any lip products because I’m with the minority here. I don’t particularly like their Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. They are so incredibly drying and just don’t work on my dry lips. Please tell me I’m not the only one!
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with my products and I won’t lie — Iām already thinking of what other products Iād like to try. Hahaha! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and enjoy the last few hours of 2016! š

Thanks for stopping by! Happy New Year!!
Colourpop shadows are amazing! Great shades you got there. I have the same opinion about the ultra matte lips but you should try the satin ones, or the matte lippie stix.

I’ll definitely have to give the satin ones a try! I’ve tried the matte lippie stix but wasn’t too impressed. Happy New Year! š

Such pretty picks! I still haven’t purchased any Colour pop items, shame on me! But the USD/CAD exchange rate is horrible right now haha.

They had free international shipping? Aww gutted I missed out on that. I just made my first ever order earlier on tonight. Wish I had read this post before! I went for their peach set and a few ultra matte lippies.
