Elizabeth Arden Plush Up Lip Gelato

Upon first swatch and application to the lips, the lipstick delivers a sheer wash of colour. If you are used to liquid lipsticks, you may find that these are really sheer. However, I’m not one who wears bold, pigmented lipsticks on a daily basis so these are great for days when I want to pull off the “no makeup” look. With an extremely soft and easy-to-apply formulation, the Plush Up Lip Gelatos are indeed very hydrating and creamy. There is a slight tingly sensation, due to the plumping effects of this lipstick.

If you’re wondering, yes, my lips do look slightly fuller looking, so these are great if you’ve thin lips. π I’m a fan of darker colors so I was super excited to try Strawberry Sorbet and Flirty Fuchshia. Strawberry Sorbet is a bright warm-toned pink while Flirty Fushchia is a cool-toned fushchia shade. My only gripe is that the lipsticks fade throughout the day and don’t exactly have the longest staying power. Also note that itβs not necessary to wear a balm under them, as that would make them slide around.
The Plush Up Lip Gelatos are available in 22 colours, ranging from nudes, pinks and berry shades. Definitely worth checking out.
Plump Up Lip Liner
The Plump Up Lip Liner ($28 SGD) come in 10 different shades and best of all, they are waterproof! I love how they glide on so easily due to the creamy texture. With this lip liner, I can apply it in the morning and not think about it until I take off my makeup at night.

All in all, I’m pretty darned impressed by the lipsticks and lip liners. They do everything they claim to do and they come in a wide variety of shades. Have you gotten yours today? π

Wow, each shade is stunning! I think I would wear them all which is not something I can often say about lip shades.
