I recently picked up the Too Faced Melted French Kisses Holiday 2015 set and I must say, I have been loving it! At $35 SGD, it’s priced reasonably and you get four shades in two different formulas. I have a large lip stash which will probably last me my entire life so it’s impossible for me to finish a lipstick! So this set is perfect for me to try the different colours. This year, the Melted French Kisses set contains two bestselling Melted Liquified Lipsticks and two new Melted Metal shades.
Melted Metallic Peony is a light warm-toned pink with a glossy finish. I was impressed by how pigmented this was on my lips as usually light colours do not show up well on my pigmented lips. This is a shade for ladies who are lighter in complexion as the pale pink might not show up well on medium to tan skintones. One thing I noticed was that this colour accentuated the fine lines on my lips. Ladies with dry lips, do take note.

Wow, can you believe we are half way into November already? This year is flying by! Today I’ll be featuring my lovely friend Jane who tried the Etude House Precious Mineral MOIST Any Cushion (launched 1st October 2015 in Singapore) and she will be sharing her thoughts on it! 😀
The Etude House Precious Mineral MOIST Any Cushion is a multitasking cushion pact providing an all-day flawless, luminous complexion with rich moisturizing properties. It claims to be moisturizing, whitening, anti-wrinkle, UV protecting (SPF 50+ / PA+++), tone correcting and gives a glossy effect. It is different from the Precious Mineral Any Cushion as this cushion contains baobab water instead of purified water and 4 times more hyaluronic acid. Jane will be putting it to the test to see how well this cushion works in Singapore’s humid weather!
N02 Light Beige
W13 Natural Beige
W24 Honey Beige

Hello everyone! Today I’ll be reviewing the newly repackaged Etude House Sweet Cherry Tints! I’ll be reviewing the entire collection which comes in 5 shades.
The Etude House Sweet Cherry Tint is a lip tint that claims to provide “moist, shiny, plump looking lips“. True it it’s claims, when freshly applied, the tint gives my lips a shiny looking appearance, making them look fuller. It applied smoothly and was comfortable to wear. However as the day went on, I noticed my lips felt slightly dryer and I had to apply a lip balm over top. This could be because my lips are naturally dry.
Do take note that the tints can only be twisted up and they cannot be twisted down. So, please twist up carefully as you use it each time!

Being a huge fan of Urban Decay eyeshadows since 2010, (I remember the year because that was when the Book of Shadows Vol. III was launched), I was thrilled when I found out that they would open their first Asian flagship retail store in Singapore! Urban Decay has always been the brand I go to for eyeshadows. Their eyeshadow quality is top-notched and it’s no wonder their Naked palettes are so popular worldwide.
If you have not had the chance to visit their new boutique, here is a mini tour of it! 🙂 I went there on the first day they opened because #BigUrbanDecayFanHere.
The Revolution Lipsticks are very pigmented! One swipe is enough! Keep Reading »
Hello! Welcome to my new blog! I figured it’s about time I started blogging. 🙂
My Beauty Musings is where I share my thoughts on all things beauty! I was born and raised in Singapore, a tiny country near Malaysia. Makeup and skincare here can be quite pricy so don’t be too shocked when you see the prices of some products. At the age of 15, I started watching Youtube videos, and when I discovered the beauty community on Youtube, it changed my life. Who knew how much makeup could transform a person! You can find out more about me here. 😀
I can also be found on Instagram.
Till next time!
